This practical tip shows you how to start the page numbers from page 3 in LibreOffice.
Let page numbers start from page 3
For a multi-page document that should only be labeled with the page numbers from the third page, make the following settings:
- Place the mouse pointer on the page where the numbering should begin.
- Click on "Insert" in the menu bar at the top.
- Select the first point "Manual wrapping".
- Under "Template" look for "First Page" and click on this point.
- You specify the number of the first page in the small field below and check the box next to "Change page number".
- Click Insert again and choose Field Command> Page Number.
- In your document, for example, the page count starts with 1 on page 3.
