Lidl Mobile number portability - how it works
With many mobile phone providers you can easily take your old mobile number with you. With Lidl Mobile it is also possible to take phone numbers with you. We'll tell you exactly how this works in this article.
How to take your phone number with you to Lidl Mobile
To take your phone number from your old contract with Lidl Mobile, you must note the following:
- Your old contract must be terminated and you must have the confirmation of termination. With a prepaid tariff, you must have submitted a porting declaration to your old provider.
- A number can be taken at the earliest 90 days before the end of the contract and no later than 90 days after the end of the contract.
- After your SIM card has been successfully activated, you can log in to the Lidl Mobile customer portal and select the item "Number portability".
- An assistant will guide you through the next steps. You can then use your new contract with your old number.
How to take your Lidl Mobile number with you
To take your Lidl Mobile phone number with you, you have to do something different:
- Contact customer service and apply for your phone number to be exempted.
- You will receive a confirmation via SMS with your porting declaration.
- You can then conclude a new contract or tariff with another provider and import your old number there.
