Apple's iPhone 5, iPad 4 and Mini have a different power input than their predecessors - the Lightning connector. You can still use your old docking stations and cables with an adapter. We'll show you what options you have.
Lightning adapter on dock for iPhone 5
Apple unfortunately does not deliver a free Lightning adapter together with the new devices such as the iPhone 5 or the new iPad. You can either purchase one directly from Apple or a third party. Many resellers - for example the Arctic - and large online shops such as Amazon now have inexpensive replicas in their range that work just as well as the original.
Buy a new Lightning cable
Are you not using docking stations or navigation mounts with the 30-pin dock connector, but only USB cables? Then you can simply replace them completely. You can get away with the original much cheaper than with the Lightning adapter. There are also many inexpensive replicas here. Furthermore, the market for accessories with the new connector is now very large, so you may be able to purchase a corresponding sound system directly, for example.
