How to set up Mobile Sync for Lightroom
To use Lightroom Mobile Sync at all, you need your Adobe ID.
- Sign in to Lightroom Mobile. To do this, click on "Get started with Lightroom mobile" in the desktop program version at the top left and then on "Login".
- Now a registration dialog opens. Enter your Adobe ID and the associated password here.
- Start Lightroom Mobile on your mobile device. You will see a login window again. Enter your data there again.
- You can see on your PC or Mac that you are logged in. On your mobile device, you will initially only receive information that there are no images.
How to start your first synchronization with Lightroom
In order to synchronize pictures with your smartphone or tablet, you first have to collect them in a collection.
- Once you have done this, click the "Sync" icon to the left of the name of the collection you want to transfer.
- As soon as you start Lightroom Mobile on your mobile device, the data will be transferred.
- The first synchronization can take a long time. Depending on the quality of your internet connection, you should expect a transmission time of one minute per picture.
- Good to know: To save storage space, only the smart previews and not the original files are transferred.
