Lightworks: clip cutting - the tutorial

In this tutorial we will show you how to cut a clip in Lightworks.

Cut the clip into Lightworks

1. Create a new project and import the video to be edited.
2. Drag the clip from the import window to a free space on the screen.
3. Move the mouse over the video clip and select "Show Timeline".
4. Click on "Toolbox" in the menu on the left and select "Global" under "Playback Controls".
5. Scroll to where you want to cut the clip and click "Delete". Now move the cursor to where you want the cut to end.
6. Drag and drop the section to be removed from the window.
7. When you are happy with your project, click the settings icon and export your clip.
