In The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, the Ocarina is an important item that you should get as soon as possible. You can also learn three songs that you will need throughout history.
How to get the Ocarina in Link's Awakening
You can only find the Ocarina in Link's Awakening when you have completed the Devil's Villa, the third dungeon. Only then will you receive the Pegasus boots you need to get to the Ocarina.
- Go to the dream shrine in the north of Mövendorf. It is located to the right of the semi-detached house. To get in, you first have to remove the rock in front of the entrance.
- Go up the stairs and lie down in bed to sleep. You then wake up in a dream world.
- Then use your Pegasus boots there to follow the passage. On the pedestal in the middle you will find a chest with rubies on the right and the ocarina on the left.
You can learn these songs
In total, you can learn three different songs in the game. You need all three in the course of history.
- The Windfish Ballad: You learn the first song right after you have found the Ocarina. Go to Marin and talk to her. You can find them either near the dream shrine or in Zoodorf. You will need the song later to wake the windfish. You can also play the song for the walrus to get a magic shell.
- Manbos Mambo: You learn this song after the fourth dungeon, the miracle tunnel, where you get the flippers. It allows you to swim to Manbo's cave, which is to the left of the wonder tunnel. The song is very helpful because it takes you to any teleporter at any time.
- Toad rap: You learn the third song after the fifth dungeon, the fish mouth, where you get the grappling hook. Go from sign to sign at the phone booth. For 300 rubies you will then learn the song you need for the turtle rock and the flying rooster.
