Clean the lens from the projector - how it works
If your home theater pleasure is dwindling because of a blurry picture, it's time to clean the projector lens. This is done quickly and then you have a crystal clear picture again.
How to clean the lens of your projector
When you clean the lens of the projector, you have to be careful not to scratch the lens.
- You can not only scratch the sensitive lens with the wrong cleaning agent. If you rub fine grains of dust on the glass, there is also a risk that fine scratches will form on the glass.
- Therefore, especially with a heavily soiled lens, you should first carefully remove the dust coating with a fine brush.
- Then wipe the projector lens with warm water, in which you may add a drop of detergent.
- Use a soft, lint-free cloth for cleaning. Microfiber cloths are well suited.
- Alternatively, use a so-called lens pen when cleaning the lens. The cleaning pens have both a fine brush and a damp felt pad, so that you have all cleaning utensils at hand.
- Glasses cleaning wipes are also very suitable for cleaning the projector lens. Just like the cleaning pen, they are small and handy, so you can take them with you wherever you go.
