Linux Kernel Version - How Do I Find You
With a simple command you can find out the kernel version of your Linux system immediately. You can find out which command that is in our practical tip.
How to find your Linux kernel version
- Open the console and enter the following command without quotes: "uname -r" (see screenshot).
- Alternatively, you can use the "cat / proc / version" command (see screenshot). This shows you further information such as the creation date.
