Linux Mint: Install Kodi
Kodi installation is relatively quick. Simply execute the following commands one after the other in the terminal and always confirm the operations (if asked) with "Yes".
- sudo apt-get install software-properties-common
- sudo add-apt-repository ppa: team-xbmc / ppa
- sudo apt-get update
- sudo apt-get install kodi
Kodi: Change language to German
After the installation has successfully completed, you can easily start Kodi from the Start menu. To change the language, proceed as follows:
- Click the small gear icon in Kodi to bring up the settings.
- Then click on "Interface settings".
- If you want, you can now set the language to "Regional" as "German".
Install add-ons for Kodi
So that you have more functions in Kodi, you can install various add-ons, among other things.
- Click Add-ons in Kodi, then click Download. You can now install various services here.
- The add-on "IPTV Simple Client" is very practical, but you have to install it via the terminal. To do this, simply type the command "sudo apt-get install kodi-pvr-iptvsimple" (without the quotation marks) and press Enter.
