If you want to take a screenshot under Linux Mint, you have several options. We show you all variants in this overview.
Take a screenshot on Linux Mint
- If you hold down the [Shift] + [Print] keys, a crosshair is displayed. If you now mark the desired area, the screenshot will then be saved in your images.
- If you use the key combination [Ctrl] + [Shift] + [Print], the crosshairs are also displayed. However, the screenshot is then saved to the clipboard.
- The combination [Ctrl] + [Print] takes a screenshot of the complete screen, with [Alt] + [Print] only the selected window is photographed.
