Linux: change language - how it works
You can easily change the language under Linux. Read in this practical tip which steps are necessary.
Change the language under Linux "Ubuntu"
- Open the "System Settings" and switch to the "Languages" option.
- Then click on "Add / Remove Languages" and then select the desired language.
- Save the changes with "Save". After installing the language, you have to drag the respective language to the top position again in the "Languages" options and apply it with "Apply system-wide".
- Then you have to make the keyboard settings in the "System Settings". Under "Keyboard" click on "Assignment properties" and add the respective language with a click on "+".
- Finally, you have to move it to the top with the arrows so that it is applied.
