Linux: Format USB stick under Ubuntu

How to format a USB stick in Ubuntu
If you want to create a live USB stick via Unetbootin, you have to convert the medium to Fat32 format. The following steps will show you how to format the disk. Back up all files that you still need.
- Click the Ubuntu icon in the system tray at the top left.
- Enter the term "drive management" in the search bar.
- Tap the button that appears under "Applications".
- Under "Storage Devices", select the USB stick you want to format.
- Then go to "Unmount disk".
- In the "Format data medium" option, you now choose a format and a new name for the USB stick.
- Clicking "Format" deletes the USB stick and adjusts the format.
