Llama: A small guide for the Android app
With the Android app "Llama" you create personal profiles for your smartphone. This guide shows you how that works.
The structure of the Llama profile app
With the profile app you manage the interaction between your smartphone and your different areas and situations in life. The design of the profile app is simple and functional. Unfortunately, the combination of white writing on a black background was chosen, which is very tiring for the eyes. In addition, you should definitely take a look at the almost endless list of required rights before you decide to install the app.
- The Android app is divided into four areas: "Profile", "Rules", "Territories" and "Send masts".
- If you call "Llama", you will automatically be in the "Profile" area. Here you will find individual standard doorbell profiles such as "loud", "quiet" and "silent". With the help of the bell profiles you can find your way around when you create your own sound profile. Of course you can also modify the existing bell profiles.
- The area "transmission masts" is also not particularly spectacular. Here you can only display a list of the connections. If necessary, you can also use the recorded telephone poles to assign them to a profile. However, the app does this automatically.
- The other two options "Rules" and "Areas" are much more exciting, because there you can create your individual profiles and the corresponding action patterns.
Define the different areas of residence
After you have selected the "Areas" option, you define your individual areas of life. This could be your apartment, the workplace, the weekend house or the allotment.
- If, for example, you now define the profile for your workplace, you should also be at your workplace. The app registers the corresponding transmission mast and will then use it as a guide.
- After you have created the profiles for your various locations, the Profile app later uses the radio masts to locate where you are and then automatically applies the profile you have created.
The smartphone becomes an assistant
A particularly important area of "Llama" are the "rules", because with the help of the rules you have defined, you can turn your smartphone into a useful assistant.
- You determine how your Android should behave in different situations, automatically. For example, you no longer have to worry about your mobile phone vibrating at work or certain calls being blocked during working hours.
- Also in the "rules" you will find some patterns, such as "work place", "home" or "at night", which you can use as a guide.
- Conveniently, the profile app not only allows you to create rules regarding the ringing behavior. You can, for example, also control other apps or adjust the smartphone's independent reactions to the respective battery level.
