Delete LogMeIn account - how it works

LogMeIn offers practical functions, but it does not make it easy for you if you want to delete your account. We explain how to do it.
LogMeIn - How to delete your account
Unlike many other online services, LogMeIn does not offer a direct function for deleting your data. You must therefore contact the support team first.
- To do this, visit the contact form on the LogMeIn help page.
- Select "All products" as the product, "Support" as the reason and enter your deletion request as a question.
- A two-line line such as "Dear LogMeIn team, please delete the LogMeIn account associated with the email address *** and all associated data. Thank you"
- If you now click on "Questions", possible help answers will be suggested, but they have nothing to do with account deletion. So press "No, send my question" at the bottom.
- Now the window finally opens in which you can actually formulate your request for deletion. Enter the requested user data and edit the request if necessary. Then send them with "Send".
- You should now be contacted by a LogMeIn employee within a few days to confirm the deletion request. Make sure that you need access to the account email address because you have to reply from this address.
- After successful confirmation, the account will be deleted within a very short time.
