Import music collection into Google Music
- To integrate local music files, you need the appropriate desktop program "Google Music Manager" on your PC or Mac. Download it and run the installation file.
- First, log in with your Google account.
- At the next point, select "Upload title to Google Play".
- Now you should specify the source of the music you want to upload. Select the bottom item "Other Folders".
- Click "Add Folder" and select the folder on your hard drive where your local music collection is located.
- The Music Manager shows you how many music files were found in the specified folders. Confirm with "Next".
- In the next step, use "Yes" or "No" to select whether files that are newly added to the folders should also be automatically uploaded to Google Music.
- Confirm again with "Next" and your music collection will be uploaded.
