Get coins in Pokémon GO - it's free
If you want to buy items in the Pokémon GO Shop, you need Poké Coins. You can get them at face value or for arena victories. In this practical tip, we will show you how to get the coins.
Pokémon GO: collect coins for the shop
With every Pokémon that sits in an arena, you collect coins. To receive your coins, you must request them in the shop. If you collect your coins, it will take 21 hours before you can claim them again. To get lots of coins quickly, follow these tips:
- Try to place as many Pokémon in different arenas at the same time. An update introduced the rule of the species. Note that only one Pokémon of a species can stay in the arena at a time.
- You earn coins by automatically defending an arena. You will receive one coin per minute, but this will only be credited to you when the Pokémon returns from the arena. Then his motivation fell to zero due to the fight with other coaches and it was defeated.
- It's best to place Pokémon in remote arenas. There are fewer trainers on the outskirts or in more inanimate areas who can take over your arena with the opposing team directly. This is important so that if you increase motivation with berries, your Pokémon will not be driven out.
- To keep your arenas safe from attackers, use strong defense Pokémon. Quappo, Aquana, Kokowei, Relaxo and Heiteira are particularly good defenders. Your arena manager will also tell you whether your Pokémon has good defense values.
- You can currently earn a maximum of 50 coins per day. The limit was lowered by the introduction of the new arena system of 100 coins.
