Mac: rotate the screen - how it works
With MacOS X 10.4, you can rotate your screen with a simple trick - regardless of whether your Mac or iBook itself has a rotating display.
How to rotate your Mac screen
If you place your iBook or PowerBook vertically, it will be difficult to use the trackpad. It is therefore better to connect a mouse beforehand - also to reset the function.
- Hold the 'Alt' key.
- Now start the system settings and click on 'Monitors'.
- You should continue to hold down the Alt key.
- There you will find a dropdown menu with the options' Standard ', '90 °', '180 °' and '270 °'.
