Mac: Connect the Bluetooth mouse and configure it correctly

This practical tip shows you how to connect a Bluetooth mouse to your Mac.

Connect and configure the Bluetooth mouse with Mac

1. Check in advance whether Bluetooth is activated on your Mac. To do this, click on the Bluetooth symbol in the menu bar on the right. If necessary, select "Activate Bluetooth".
2. Turn on the bluetooth mouse.
3. Click on the apple icon in the top left and select "System Settings".
4. Then click on "Mouse".
5. In the newly opened window, select the entry "Configure Bluetooth mouse".
6. The area is now searched for your Bluetooth mouse.
7. After the mouse is found, you can click "Continue". The mouse is now successfully paired with the computer.
8. You can then configure your mouse: You can, for example, deactivate the trackpad or switch off mouse acceleration.
