Follow these steps to completely remove Dropbox from your Mac:
- Click the Dropbox icon in the top right corner of the menu bar and select the gear icon.
- Then go to Settings and switch to the "Account" tab. Here you can select the "Unlink this dropbox".
- Then click the Dropbox icon in the top right of your menu bar and select the gear icon again.
- Now select "Exit Dropbox".
