Mac: Insert the same formatting in Textedit
In this practical tip, you will learn how to insert the same formatting in Textedit on Mac. Similar to Windows Office, Textedit has a built-in option on your Mac that allows you to directly apply the font size, font and color.
How to paste the same formatting in Textedit on Mac
If you just press [CMD] + [V], Textedit will not do the formatting. The next section shows you how to paste copied content in the same formatting so that you don't have to manually adjust the text every time.
- If the copied text is in the clipboard, open the Textedit document and click on "Edit" in the menu bar.
- Choose Insert and Fit Style.
- The text appears in the same formatting.
