Mac: mount ISO - so it'll work
If you don't want to burn an ISO image to a CD on your Mac, you can also mount the image directly without additional software. Our instructions show you the individual steps.

If you simply double-click the ISO image with the mouse, it is usually automatically mounted in the Finder. If that doesn't work, you can follow these instructions:
- Open the Finder on your Mac and go to the "Applications" category on the left.
- Select the "Utilities" and then the "Hard Disk Utility".
- Click on "File" at the top of the menu bar and select the "Open Image" option.
- If you select the ISO image from your hard drive, it will be mounted automatically.
