Mac: Edit launchpad
You can edit the launchpad on your Mac or MacBook in just a few steps. You can find your installed programs here: create folders for them or distribute your programs on different pages to sort them. We show you how it works.
Edit launchpad on Mac
There are various tools in the launchpad to organize your installed programs. You can create folders for programs or create multiple pages.
- Start the launchpad by pressing the F4 key or by selecting the launchpad icon (rocket icon) in the dock.
- If you want to change the position of a program icon, simply drag it to the desired position with the mouse. Other programs are automatically displaced.
- You can set up folders for your programs by dragging one program onto another. So a folder is created immediately. You can change its name (see picture) by clicking on the given name.
- You can also arrange your programs on different pages, for example creating one page for office applications and one for games. To do this, select a program and drag the icon to the far right until a new, blank page appears. Put the program there and add more if necessary.
