Mac: Search mails - how it works
In this practical tip, we explain how to search mail on your Mac.
Search mail on Mac
Open the mail program on your Mac.
- Select the mailbox you want to search in the left mail display.
- Click on "Edit" in the menu bar and then on "Search".
- The pointer is now in the search field shown on the right. Type in the search word here.
- All emails containing the corresponding word are then displayed.
- You will also find the results found under the search field, sorted by "People" or "Topics". So you can search for the content or just for a specific person's email.
