- First switch to "Users & Groups" and click on the lock below to log in as administrator.
- Then add a new user by clicking on the "+" symbol at the bottom left.
- Under "New account" select the option "Only approval" and assign a user name and password.
- Then go to "System Settings"> "Shares" and there in "File Shares". There you can specify which folders should be shared with the user.
- Under "Options" you can also define which protocols are available. Activate the "SMB" and "AFP" options here.
- The Mac Mini is now visible to other users on the network. Use the previously created account and the associated password to log in to the Mac Mini via the network.
