There are a few steps to remove Google Chrome from Mac OS autostart:
- Open the "System Preferences" of your Mac and switch to the "User" settings.
- Click "Login Items" here and search for Chrome.
- Then remove the check mark to deactivate the autostart.
- You also have to right-click on the Chrome icon in the taskbar. Then select "Options".
- Finally, remove the checkmark at "Open at login" and the browser should no longer open automatically the next time the system is started.
