Thanks to a free app, you can easily convert your PDF files into plain text documents:
- To do this, download the free "PDF to Text" tool from the app store and run it after installation.
- Use the "+ PDF" button in the upper left corner to add a new PDF document.
- To do this, search for one or more PDF documents in the Finder that you want to convert and transfer them to the program window.
- Then select the path to save under "Save to:". To do this, click on "Browse" and look for any folder.
- Click on the two arrows to start the conversion process. Depending on the size of the PDF, this can take some time. The converted text files can then be found in the selected folder.
