Mac OS: Automatically change desktop background
You can have the desktop background change automatically under Mac OS. You compile a selection of images that are automatically changed. Our guide will tell you how it works.
Mac OS: Automatic change of background images
If you want more variety for your desktop background, activate the image change in the following way:
- Open the system settings.
- Click on the menu item "Desktop & Screen Saver".
- Now you can choose a folder with pictures on the left side of the window. The background images from Apple, iPhoto or other folders are available on your Mac.
- After selecting a folder you have to put a check next to "Change picture" (see picture).
- You can also specify the time period in which the images are to be changed here.
- A check mark next to "Transparent menu bar" makes the upper menu bar transparent to match the current background image. You can also activate the "Random order" option.
