Mac OS: Start Terminal
The terminal is an important part of Mac OS. When you start it, you can access a command line and execute important commands. We'll show you three simple methods you can use to open the terminal.
Mac OS: 3 easy ways to open the terminal
- Use the key combination "cmd" + "Spacebar" to open the Spotlight search and enter the term "Terminal". Now double-click on the search result.
- Switch to your "desk" and click on "Go" in the top menu bar. Select the "Utilities" entry here. Then double-click on "Terminal" in the newly opened window.
- Click on "Programs" at the bottom of the "Dock". Then select "Utilities" and then "Terminal".
