In order to no longer display users in the login screen of the Mac, you must work with the "Terminal" program. If you only have one account, you should note that this will no longer be displayed on the login screen.

- Enter the term "Terminal" in the spotlight search at the top right of the clock by clicking on the magnifying glass symbol.
- Now select the first hit.
- To no longer display a user account in the login window, enter the following command. Replace "ACCOUNTNAME" with the name of the account to be hidden: sudo dscl. create / Users / ACCOUNTNAME IsHidden 1
- After restarting your Mac, the user account no longer appears on the login screen.
