Mac OS X: User logs out automatically - what to do?
If a user logs off automatically under Mac OS X, this is due to the standard settings. We show you how you can change the behavior.
Mac OS X: Users log out automatically
- Go to the "System Settings" via the apple icon in the top left.
- There click on "Security" and select the lock symbol at the bottom left.
- Enter your master password and click on the "Additional options" now activated at the bottom right.
- Deactivate the option "Logout after ... minutes of inactivity" -
- Confirm the change with "OK" and click the lock icon again.
