On Mac OS X, you can easily view the computer runtime since the last restart. We show them how it works.
View computer runtime on Mac OS X.
Unfortunately, you can only display the runtime since the last restart. The complete runtime is not logged under OS X:
- Open your Mac's terminal. You can find this in the launchpad. Alternatively, use the key combination "cmd" + spacebar, type "Terminal" and press "Enter".
- Now enter the "uptime" command and confirm your entry by pressing the Enter key.
- The output shows you the computer runtime since the last restart. For example, "3 days, 20:32" means that the Mac has been running for 3 days, 20 hours, and 32 minutes.
