Mac OS X: Name files with special characters
You can also name your files with special characters on Mac OS X. Smilies or cryptic characters - almost anything is possible so that not everyone can immediately recognize what the file contains.
Name files on Mac OS X with special characters
- Open the "Finder" and mark the file you want to rename.
- A large selection of special characters is displayed via the "Edit" -> "Special characters" menu.
- Select the characters you want to use to rename the file.
