On Mac OS X, you can also print documents as PDF files. We show you how this works in this practical tip.
Mac OS X: Print documents as PDF
To save your documents as a PDF file, you must first call up the print menu:
- In your current program, select "File" or "File" and "Print ..." to get to the print dialog. Alternatively, use the key combination "cmd" + "P".
- In this window you will find the "PDF" button at the bottom left. Click on it and select "Save as PDF ...".
- In the next window you can choose the location where the file should be saved. You can also assign a name. Finally click on "Save".
