- Enter the command "defaults write NSGlobalDomain NSAutomaticWindowAnimationsEnabled -bool NO" to deactivate the animations when opening and closing the windows.
- All applications must be restarted for the command to run.
- If you want to reactivate the window animation, enter the command "defaults write NSGlobalDomain NSAutomaticWindowAnimationsEnabled -bool YES" in the terminal.
