If there are several printers and other devices on your network, it makes sense to give a specific printer a meaningful name. So you know immediately which device is the printer you prefer:
- Open the "System Settings" via the Dock.
- Click on the "Printers & Scanners" menu item.
- The available printers are displayed on the left. Select the desired printer here.
- On the right side click on "Options & Levels ...".
