If you do not want to see notes and banners under Mac OS X under certain circumstances, you can turn them off at a scheduled time:
- Click on the Apple icon in your status bar and select "System Preferences ...".
- Navigate to the "Messages" area on the first line.
- Then check the "Activate do not disturb" checkbox.
- You can regulate the exact schedule using the two times next to it. Set here the period in which you do not want to be disturbed.
- Also make sure that the "When synchronizing TVs and projectors" function is active.
