Wi-Fi is no longer possible on Mac OS X - you can do that
Follow the instructions below to use the WiFi again:
- First, check if there are updates for your Mac. If so, install it.
- Make sure that the cabling on the router is correct and that all cables are secure.
- Disconnect the router's power supply for about 30 seconds. Then try to connect again.
- Make sure that the router's firmware is up to date.
- Connect a LAN cable for testing. If this also does not work, either your router or the network card is defective.
- Try connecting another device to your router. If that doesn't work either, your router is defective. Otherwise, the problem is with your Mac.
- In this case, find an Apple partner who can replace the defective network card.
