Maximize window instead of full screen on Mac OS X Yosemite
If you click the green dot in a window as usual on Mac OS X Yosemite, full-screen mode is activated. If you just want to maximize the window instead, this works with a little trick.
- If you move the mouse over the green dot of the window control, two small arrows appear under Mac OS X Yosemite. These signal that you can switch to full screen mode. If you click the point while holding down the ALT key, the window is only maximized.
