Mac: Show RAM usage - how it works
In this practical tip, we will show you how to display the RAM usage on your Mac. Mac OS X offers a separate system program for this.
Mac: Read RAM usage with activity indicator
- Go to "Programs" via the "Finder" and there to "Utilities".
- At this point, open the "Activity Viewer".
- There, click on the "Storage" tab.
- At the bottom you can see the available and used memory of your RAM.
- The utility also lists all programs that use memory.
