Call up Spotlight search with a key combination
Activate "Spotlight" using the shortcut "cmd" + "Spacebar". The input field opens at the top right and you can enter your search phrase.
Tip: "Spotlight" not only searches documents and programs, but also the content of e-mails, for example, and forwards your search directly to "Google" if desired. You can speed up the search for spotlights with the small but powerful free tool "Alfred".
