Mac: Save as - here you will find the function
"Save As" is also available on Mac. We'll show you where to find the function.
"Save As" on Mac
Just like under Windows, in most programs you will find the "Save as ..." function under the "File" menu tab.
- Word: If you have opened Microsoft Office Word, for example, you will find "File" in the menu bar at the top of the screen. If you click on it, a selection opens in which you will also find "Save as ...".
- Chrome: If you surf the web with Google Chrome, you can also save pages with "Save as ...". Here, too, you will find the entry "Save page as ..." in the upper menu bar under "File".
- It is different in many Mac-specific programs such as Safari and Pages. You can find out more in the next paragraph.
Specify a specific location on the Mac - Here's how

- Click on "File" in the menu
- Here you choose "Save".
- A window with "Save as" now appears. Click the down arrow next to the file name.
- Here you can now navigate on your hard drive and select a suitable location.
- Finally save with "Save".
We'll also show you how to convert a Pages document to a Word document.
