Open Mac Task Manager - Here's how
If you use many programs on your Mac at the same time, you need the Task Manager. With this you can end active programs and check the CPU utilization. For Mac computers there are two different options to open the Task Manager.
The "little" task manager for Mac
To end your programs, you must click on the Apple logo in the upper left corner and then select the menu item "End immediately ...". You can also open the program manager with the key command CMD + ALT + ESC . This shows you the active programs. Now you have to select a program and confirm your entry by clicking on "End immediately".

The quickest way to open the more detailed task manager is with your Spotlight search. Click the magnifying glass icon on the top right of the bar to activate Spotlight. Now enter activity indicator and choose the first hit. Here you can get more information about your programs. For example, you can see what percentage your programs are using on your CPU.
