In the free "VLC Media Player" you only have to make a few settings to see your video as a wallpaper.
- Start the VLC Media Player and click on "VLC" and then "Settings".
- Select the option "Subtitles & OSD" on the left and remove the checkmark at "Activate On Screen Display (OSD)".
- Save and close the settings so that they are adopted.
- Call up the settings again and click on the "All" option under "Show settings" in the lower left corner.
- Now switch to the interface settings and expand them. Click on the symbol next to "Main interfaces" to expand this setting as well.
- Select "macosx" and check "Use as desktop background".
- The addon has a video collection from which you can set a video as the background. You can also upload your own videos.
- To do this, click on "Preferences" and select "Custom" from the drop-down menu.
- Then select your desired video in the "Open Dialog".
- The software also allows you to adjust the volume of the videos. This allows you to assign individual volumes to your videos.
