Mac: edit videos - the best tips
In this practical tip, we will give you tips and tricks on how best to edit videos on your Mac. The "iMovie" program on your Mac is an ideal tool for editing videos. With other functions such as the various filters, you can also give your video its own note.
- You can now slide video snippets from the media library into the lower area and line them up. If, by the way, your video is not in the media library, then import it in this way.
- If you want to split the video into clips, move the slider to the relevant position and right-click in the area. Choose Split Clip.
- The clips can also be adjusted at their edges. So you can cut the video to your liking.

- Then drag your video from the media library to the lower area
- Mark the area in the video that you want to edit.
- At the top right in iMovie you will find various small icons. Click the icon with the three circles that intersect.

- When you are in the editing mask, you will see various icons in the top right. Click on the icon with the palette there. At this point you can set the color, contrast and brightness of your video.
- The "cut" symbol directly to the right enables you to reduce the size of your video. You can also rotate the video at this point.
- You can stabilize your video using the "camera" symbol. This helps especially with blurred shots.

- You can add audio recordings or reduce the background noise in your clip using the "Audio" or "Noise" symbol.
