Mac: Which Magic Mouse gestures are there?
The Magic Mouse from Apple is the first mouse with a multi-touch sensor that supports various gestures. We show you which function is behind which gesture.
Click with the Magic Mouse
The "normal" click with the left mouse button is like a mouse pad. You simply tap anywhere on the Magic Mouse surface with your finger.
Right click with the Magic Mouse
To open a context menu, right-click on the front right corner of the mouse. As the left-hander, you define the front left corner.
Scroll horizontally and vertically
To scroll through web pages or documents, simply swipe your index finger on the Magic Mouse surface in the desired direction.
Zoom with the Magic Mouse
To zoom, hold down the [Ctrl] key and slide your finger up. Scroll down to zoom out.
Wipe with two fingers
If you swipe your index and middle fingers over the Magic Mouse, you can scroll through the pictures in iPhoto or your songs in iTunes, for example.
