MacBook: Switch off the apple lighting on the back
In this practical tip, we explain how to switch off the apple lighting on the back of your MacBook.
Turn off apple lighting and save power on the MacBook
The easiest way is to turn off screen lighting on your MacBook.
- To do this, press the [F1] key several times to regulate the screen brightness.
- You can see that this turns off the apple lighting - the catch: you cannot work at the same time because the screen remains black.
- If you need a bright screen, adjust your screen lighting to the penultimate level. The apple then only glows weakly. You adjust the lighting up again by pressing the [F2] key.
