- Open the system settings and navigate to the menu item "Trackpad".
- In the "Point and click" tab, check the top option "Click by tap" by clicking in the empty box to the left.
- If you now tap lightly on your trackpad, the mouse reacts.
Activate tapping on the external trackpad
You can also activate typing instead of clicking for your trackpad. To do this, also open the system settings and select the "Trackpad" menu item.
