Macbook: Adjust trackpad settings
You can adjust the trackpad settings for your Macbook in just a few steps. Various gestures for controlling your Macbook can be configured here. You also have the option to set up a right click. We show in our guide how it works.
Set the trackpad on the Macbook
You can find many different configuration options for your trackpad in the system settings in MacOs. In addition to gestures, you can set up a classic right-click if necessary. The pointer movement can also be adjusted here.
- Open the system settings in the dock of your Macbook desktop. Then select the "Trackpad" menu item under Hardware.
- Now the trackpad menu appears (see picture). Here you now have the opportunity to adapt the trackpad to your own needs. The categories are divided into click functions, scroll & zoom and other gestures.
- When you move your mouse pointer over the various fields, a video appears on the right. Here the gesture or click movement is illustrated.
- If you want to activate a function, simply tick the box. By clicking on the arrow symbol, further options will be shown in some fields.
