- Shut down the MacBook. To do this, click on the apple in the menu bar and select the "Switch off" item.
- Wait for the MacBook to shutdown completely.
- Now restart your MacBook by pressing the power button.
- Hold the "Alt" button during the boot process to get to the boot selection.
- Here you can select the USB stick with the mouse.
