Dynamic wallpapers under macOS Mojave - what is it?
With its latest update macOS Mojave, Apple offers its computers an interesting feature.
- Dynamic wallpapers will show you the current time of day in the future.
- The background of the desk does not change the motif, but adapts to the time of day.
- In the morning, for example, the sun rises over the Mojave Desert - eponymous macOS and standard wallpaper. At noon the sun is at its highest point. At night, stars sparkle on your MacBook over the desert.
This is how the activation works
With a few clicks you can activate the dynamic wallpapers.
- Click under the apple logo in the upper right corner of your MacBook's screen and choose System Preferences.
- In the system settings click on "Desktop & screensaver" and select the "Desktop" tab.
- Here you can choose a wallpaper. Above that you will find a drop down menu. You can use it to determine whether the wallpaper should be light, dark or dynamic.
